Warehouses
Ship from 2 or more different warehouse locations with a ShipWorks warehouse plan. In a multi-warehouse configuration, each location has it’s own on-premise ShipWorks installation and unique (not shared) database. Orders are automatically and intelligently routed and downloaded only into the correct ShipWorks warehouse responsible for shipping the order.
Order Routing
ShipWorks Hub automatically routes orders to different warehouses so that they can be downloaded into the correct ShipWorks instance (in the case of multiple warehouses). Routing is complete using a combination of checking the shortest distance from warehouse origin to shipment destination, product level routing (in the case that not all warehouses carry all items), and inventory levels in case specific warehouses are out of certain item stock.
