Customer Success Story: TheFlagShirt.com Grows Online Business & Helps Consumers Show Their Patriotism
Do you like to show your American Pride? Brett Stern at TheFlagShirt.com knows that many people do, and his website helps them find the perfect patriotic look. Keep reading and learn how he’s able to meet the high volume demand and ship items quickly.
Who is TheFlagShirt.com?
According to Brett, the company was originally started 60 years ago as a wholesale brand. The company’s wholesale business is still active and thriving, but they decided to branch out to selling directly to consumers approximately six years ago. They established TheFlagShirt.com through Volusion and orders started coming in quickly. TheFlagShirt.com has been a ShipWorks customer since 2010.
What was life like before ShipWorks?
“Our process used to be extremely manual and time consuming. We literally retyped every address,” said Brett. “I remember looking at my shipping guy one day saying there has to be a better way to do this. That’s when we discovered ShipWorks.”
Why did you select ShipWorks?
“When we originally went with ShipWorks, our biggest criteria was that we wanted to stop retyping addresses. Now, I couldn’t live without it. ShipWorks is a big part of our entire warehouse process. It allows us to do pick lists with bin locations, reports and so much more.”
What are the results after ShipWorks?
“We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without ShipWorks, especially during our peak season. Near the Fourth of July we ship nearly 500 orders a day. You have to have automated processes when you ship that much.”
The nitty-gritty background details:
